Flying Heritage Collection, Seattle, USA
What can be said about the Flying Heritage Collection in Seattle. If you are an aviation enthusiast, it should be on your list of must see! In 1997, Paul Allen of Microsoft fame, decided to start collecting WW2 aircraft -I wish! However, Mr Allen had the right list in mind and started to collect one of the best airworthy collections of WW2 aircraft in the world. His collection is second to none! I am just happy he didn't hid them away in a hangar away from our eyes. They are on public display at Paine Field in Everett in Seattle USA for all to see. Wonderful stuff! Other collectors could have stuck the aircraft away from our eyes and we'd never be able to share in these treasures - thank you Mr Allen for sharing!
